In Ust-Kamenogorsk, a court sentenced former deputy director of the branch of the NJSC "Government for Citizens" Rakhimzhanov A.A. and Nurtazin D.M. to 4 years of imprisonment in the case of illegal gold mining at the Shybyndy site in the Ulan district. The volume of gold extracted exceeded 15 kg, and its value amounted to more than 844 million tenge.

The National Bureau of Statistics has published producer price indices for June 2026. In industry, prices rose by 17.2% year-on-year, in agriculture by 16.6%, in wholesale trade by 13.8%, and in construction by 9.2%. The main contributors to the increase were oil extraction and metallurgy.

According to the department's findings, the violation committed by one of the doctors is not considered gross and does not contain elements of criminal offences. Meanwhile, the surgeon found guilty of negligence avoided punishment due to the expiry of the statute of limitations in the case.
