Kazakhstan has been placed on a US list regarding risks of circumventing tariffs on goods from China.

The US administration has claimed there is an alleged global scheme under which goods of Chinese origin could be routed to the United States via third countries to circumvent American tariffs. Kazakhstan was among the countries included in the published list of states at risk of involvement in such schemes.
