In a new flat in the Greenline Verda residential complex in Astana, workers during renovation discovered hidden electrical wiring with a large number of connections and traces of severe blackening. The owners decided to completely dismantle it and replace it with new wiring.
WHAT WAS DISCOVERED DURING THE RENOVATION
According to ZTB, the flat owner received the keys about a month ago. During the renovation work, workers opened up the wall and found wiring inside, hidden beneath the finish.
The footage shows sections of electrical wiring with numerous connections and traces of blackening. The owner noted that during a standard handover inspection of the flat, it would have been impossible to detect the problem.
WHY THE WIRING WAS REPLACED
According to the owner, he feared that the discovered condition of the wiring could have led to overheating or a short circuit.
In the end, the flat owners decided to completely dismantle the discovered wiring and replace it with new wiring.
WHAT BI GROUP SAID IN RESPONSE
The company stated that the owner's complaint had been registered, apologised for the inconvenience caused and said that responsible specialists would contact him shortly.
