The Supreme Audit Chamber has summarised the results of certification of state auditors for the second quarter of 2026. Following four meetings of the National Commission, 41 candidates received the qualification of state auditor, and a further three were awarded the qualification of state auditor of the highest category.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Alibek Moldagaliyev as chairman of the Aktobe Regional Court. His appointment came several weeks after the Head of State's decree ended the honorary retirement of his father — Moldabek Akhmetov, who lost his retired judge status following the review of his case by the Commission on Judicial Ethics.

The Government of Kazakhstan has approved the Development Plan for the hydropower industry.

The Government of Kazakhstan has approved a Development Plan for the hydropower sector until 2035. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. The document defines a long-term approach to harnessing the country's hydropower potential and provides for the development of new generating capacities.

The mineralisation of water in Shchuchinsk has been found to be above the comfortable norm.

The mineralisation of tap water in Shchuchinsk is recorded at 400–450 ppm. The sanitary authorities of Akmola Region and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan have responded to requests from the editorial board of FBK, stating that the standard in Kazakhstan is up to 1000 mg/l, and that the unit ppm is not used at all.

In the auls of Shenbertal and Kurylis in the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region, a mass mortality of cattle has been recorded. According to the veterinary department, laboratory tests have identified theileriosis, piroplasmosis, and leptospirosis in 51 of the deceased animals. On 22 July, specialists from the veterinary control and supervision committee of the Ministry of Agriculture travelled to the district.
