President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held meetings with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Han Duck-soo, and heads of major Korean companies. At the centre of the talks were economic co-operation, investment, industry, logistics and the development of Alatau City. Following the meetings, the sides also exchanged a number of agreements and memorandums.

The daughter of the deceased family in Atyrau, Akbayan Mukangaliyeva, has been discharged from hospital and is continuing outpatient treatment under the supervision of relatives. Atyrau Airport has admitted an error in its own financial reporting

Atyrau Airport and the Committee for Internal State Audit of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan have responded to the FBK's enquiries following the analysis of the airport's financial statements for 2022–2024. The airport acknowledged a technical error in the calculation of earnings per share for 2022–2023 and incorrect disclosure of the interest expense on lease.

The company temporarily imported six tractor units into Kazakhstan and exported them back. But the same VIN numbers continue to be listed in Kazakhstan under different owners, although Russian registers show the originals as still registered in the Russian Federation. A claim has been filed against the company for recovery of the recycling fee; it is disputing this and demanding an inspection.

Steppe and forest fires in Kazakhstan have engulfed around 2,870 hectares

On 13 September, five forest fires were recorded in Kazakhstan – the Ministry of Ecology reported this. The FBK editorial team checked NASA FIRMS satellite monitoring data and found that on the same day far more were blazing across the country – large steppe fires had engulfed eight regions at once.

Violations at the Akkol District Hospital were confirmed without disclosing details of the penalties

A resident of Akkol, Alexander Strazhev, complained about medical care being provided by a resident doctor without a supervisor. Inspections confirmed violations in the treatment of the patient and raised questions about the chief physician's staffing decisions regarding his son. The head of the hospital was brought to disciplinary responsibility, however the grounds and type of penalty were not disclosed.
