In the North Kazakhstan Region, a scandal is erupting around new homes built under a state programme for socially vulnerable categories of the population.

The Supreme Audit Chamber has summarised the results of the state audit of the activities of JSC "Centre for Electronic Finance", a subordinate organisation of the Ministry of Finance. The inspection covered issues of development and maintenance of information systems in the sphere of public finances.

In the West Kazakhstan Region, residents of four settlements in the Araltobe and Bulan rural districts could have been left without electricity in the middle of winter. The cause was the technical specifications issued by the LLP «West Kazakhstan Electric Grid Company» to the contractor LLP «SK Alash».
