In Astana, officers of the city's police department have stopped street races involving several drivers, including a minor. The offenders created a hazardous situation and committed serious traffic violations. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against them, and their cars have been impounded.

In Almaty, during the first day of the operational and preventive measure "Stop-Violations," the police identified more than 2,000 traffic violations. Around 400 violations involving electric scooters were also recorded, and approximately 1,000 vehicles were impounded. The operation is aimed at reducing accident rates and strengthening control on the roads.

KazMunayGas is considering the possibility of attracting new partners to develop the Kalankas-sea and Khazar fields in the Caspian due to sanctions against Lukoil. The new Constitution of Kazakhstan obliges non-profit organisations receiving foreign funding to disclose data on the movement of funds and assets. The provision is enshrined in the section on the foundations of the constitutional system and applies to receipts from foreign states, international structures, foreign companies and individuals.

A court in Aktau has found an accountant guilty of organising a scheme for fictitious employment to illegally obtain social payments for pregnant women. According to the AFM, the damage to the state amounted to 146 million tenge, and she has been sentenced to 5 years' imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The international operation involving the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, the National Police of Ukraine, and the Prosecutor General's Offices of both countries has led to the dismantling of a network of fraudulent call centres in Dnipro. Fifty-three people have been detained, and money and equipment have been seized. According to the investigation, members of the group operated under the guise of investment companies and gained access to the funds of citizens of Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and EU countries.

Complaints from residents of Atyrau about odours and emissions led to an inspection of the Atyrau Oil Refinery, during which discharges of wastewater and violations of atmospheric emissions were identified. The court held the enterprise accountable and imposed a fine of over 520 million tenge.
