A fire broke out in the Avangard microdistrict of the city of Atyrau, on the territory of an amusement park. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading to neighbouring buildings. There were no casualties.
WHAT HAPPENED
According to the EMERCOM, the fire occurred on Tlendiyev Street on the territory of an amusement park. The flames engulfed a wooden haunted house and a carousel.
By the time the first units arrived, both structures were completely engulfed in flames. The department noted that the fire was fully developed.
HOW THE RESCUERS RESPONDED
As EMERCOM reported, the fire's development was facilitated by a high fire load, due to the presence of a large amount of combustible materials.
EMERCOM employees promptly began extinguishing the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighbouring buildings.
The blaze was extinguished. According to the department, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
