In Karazhal, emergency restoration work on the electricity networks has been completed. According to the Ulytau region’s akimat, power supply has been fully restored to all 385 consumers, including social facilities.

Akim of Atyrau Region Serik Shapkenov held a meeting with residents of Zhylyoi District in the city of Kulsary. The head of the region reported on the socio-economic development of the area and answered questions from the public. Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the construction of schools and kindergartens, the modernisation of municipal infrastructure and the development of the district's road network.

Residents of the town of Karazhal in the Ulytau region have been without electricity for the second day. Due to an accident on the power lines, part of the town has been left without light and heating. Authorities report a partial restoration of electricity supply, however, hundreds of homes remain without power.
