Senator Marat Kozhayev has proposed stripping repeat traffic offenders of the right to pay only half the fine for subsequent violations. The initiative applies to drivers who systematically break the rules more than ten times a year.

In the Mangystau region, the police have recorded several cases of unlawful harassment of citizens. The suspects had previously been held accountable but continued the harassment, which became grounds for a pre-trial investigation.

In 2025, the prosecutor’s office of Kostanay region secured the return of over 9 billion tenge to the state budget. In the area of public procurement, approximately 1 billion tenge was recovered, including more than 300 million tenge in advance payments from one contractor, and unjustified expenditure of 6 billion tenge was prevented.

The digital drug labelling system, introduced in Kazakhstan in July 2025, has recorded instances of medicines intended for free distribution being sold in the commercial sector, the reuse of labelling codes, and the sale of expired drugs. In total, more than 15,000 units of medicines were identified.
