The Inter-district Civil Court of Astana has upheld the claim by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan to revoke the licence of lawyer Svetlana Nurlatova. The basis for this was documents submitted to the court regarding the payment of a fee of 37.52 million tenge, which, as the courts established, do not confirm the actual payment for services.

14 March in Almaty saw the festive concert "Kөktөbedegі Kөrіsu", dedicated to Kөrіsu Day, which marks the beginning of the Nauryz holiday. The central venue for the event was the Kok-Tobe area. Decree of the President of Kazakhstan No. 1188 of 2 March 2026 formalised personnel changes in the judicial system. The document concerns 183 judges: 135 have been appointed to new positions, and the powers of 48 individuals have been terminated on various grounds.

The Criminal Appeals Panel of the East Kazakhstan Regional Court (EKR) has reviewed the case of former director of LLP "ҚАЖсервис" Yerkin Daumov. He was found guilty of abusing his official powers. The court imposed a sentence of 3 years and 6 months of restriction of liberty and a lifelong ban on holding positions in the state and quasi-state sector.

In Aktobe, a bag containing the body of a 55-year-old man was found at a rubbish site. According to local residents, the suspicious bag had been lying among the waste for several days and emitted a strong smell. The Police Department of Aktobe Region has opened a criminal case and is conducting investigative measures.

The court has issued a sentence to the chairperson of an agricultural production cooperative in the Arys district of the Turkestan region in a case concerning the illegal receipt of state subsidies. According to the prosecutor's office, false information about the number of breeding livestock was entered into the system. The court found the defendant guilty and imposed a penalty.
