Mother of the participant in the beating of a schoolgirl in Karaganda fined 45,000 tenge

The Juvenile Court of Karaganda has fined one of the 16-year-old participants' mothers 45,413 tenge for the beating of a 13-year-old schoolgirl. The incident occurred on 16 February when a group of teenagers attacked the girl and filmed the event on video. The woman was found guilty of failing to properly fulfil her duties in raising her child.

The ВАП has been granted the right to refuse to recognise audits from ministries in Kazakhstan.

The Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan has been granted the right to additionally inspect and, if necessary, refuse to recognise the results of internal audits of ministries. The new regulation strengthens external control over departmental checks and may change the procedure for using audit reports in the state financial control system.

Construction company VK Real Estate has been granted trust management of the Left Bank Health Resort in Ust-Kamenogorsk — a facility that for many years was considered a closed leisure area for high-ranking officials and was known as the "Nazarbayev residence".

The factory management is suspected of embezzling 303 million tenge from shareholders in the Mangystau Region.
