At a dairy plant in the village of Zhibek Zholy, Arshaly district, Akmola region, there was a pop of a gas-air mixture, as a result of which two employees of the enterprise were injured. The men sustained serious burns and were hospitalised.

In Kazakhstan, 41 crimes related to human trafficking, including cases involving minors, were registered in April. A number of incidents were identified in several regions of the country during operational measures carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD).

In the Ulytau region, the 'Kylysh' reservoir with a designed capacity of 11.5 million cubic metres has been returned to state ownership. Following the return of the facility, the authorities allocated funds to prepare for its reconstruction.
