Residents of the Karaganda region will be refunded over 3.1 billion tenge, which natural monopoly enterprises received through tariffs but did not use for their intended purpose. The refund will be carried out through compensatory tariffs in effect from 1 January 2026 to 1 March 2027.

Ecologists identified the source of pollution and held "StroyGarant XXI" LLP accountable. The Juvenile Court of Karaganda has fined one of the 16-year-old participants' mothers 45,413 tenge for the beating of a 13-year-old schoolgirl. The incident occurred on 16 February when a group of teenagers attacked the girl and filmed the event on video. The woman was found guilty of failing to properly fulfil her duties in raising her child.

The Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan has been granted the right to additionally inspect and, if necessary, refuse to recognise the results of internal audits of ministries.
