Income of 665 million tenge was concealed by bailiffs in Taldykorgan

The Taldykorgan prosecutor's office has identified significant discrepancies between the actual incomes of private bailiffs (PBIs) and the data they declared in their tax returns for 2023.

According to the agency's press service, some PBIs substantially understated the amounts subject to taxation, allowing them to avoid paying taxes in full.

It is reported that the volume of completed enforcement proceedings last year amounted to 896.1 million tenge. However, in the submitted declarations, the private bailiffs stated only 231 million tenge. The difference was 665.1 million tenge.

Following the prosecutor's office's representation, three PBIs have already submitted amended declarations and paid an additional 2.6 million tenge in taxes to the budget. Similar violations were found among another 17 private bailiffs. The authorised body is now taking measures to recover the PBIs' tax arrears.

It is worth recalling that previously in the North Kazakhstan region, 25 bailiffs were identified as having concealed income totalling 133.5 million tenge, which led to non-payment of taxes amounting to 13.2 million tenge.
