Roman Sklyar has been appointed head of the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan. He has replaced Aibek Dadabay.
REASON FOR THE PERSONNEL DECISION
By decree of the Head of State, Aibek Dadabay has been relieved of his post due to a transfer to another job. Further details have not been disclosed.
Roman Sklyar has been appointed to this position and has been relieved of his previous post as First Deputy Prime Minister.
CONTEXT
Aibek Dadabay had headed the Presidential Administration since February 2024. Prior to this, he was the President's Executive Secretary.
Roman Sklyar previously held the position of First Deputy Prime Minister. He joined the government in September 2019, and was later appointed First Deputy Prime Minister.
