One of the co-founders of the NetUtilSboru movement, Vladimir Kim, has announced his departure from the group, relinquishing his administrative powers and ending his participation in public activity. He made this decision after an incident at the border, where, in his words, he unexpectedly encountered a temporary ban on leaving Kazakhstan.

Air pollution has been recorded in Atyrau following complaints from residents about a pungent smell.

Residents of Atyrau are complaining about a thick haze and a sharp, unpleasant smell, which is especially noticeable at night and in the early morning. Burabay District Court has announced the sentence for three defendants in the case of the explosion and fire at the “Centre of Plov” café in Shchuchinsk. The three individuals involved in the case have received prison sentences ranging from 6 to 7 years.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported that the anniversary meeting of the Interstate Coordination Water Management Commission was not included in the action plan which formed part of the tender documentation. The Balkhash City Court partially upheld the claim brought by the brother of Meruert Aulbayeva, who died in 2023 after treatment at the city hospital due to medical negligence, and ordered the medical institution to pay 2 million tenge in material damages and 10 million tenge in moral damages.
