In a house on the territory of the "Optimist" dacha community in Karaganda, the bodies of a 43-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman were discovered with gunshot wounds. Both of the deceased held prominent positions in the local dacha community - the man ran the association and worked as a lawyer, while the woman was an active community figure in the district, which places this story beyond the scope of an ordinary domestic incident.

In the auls of Shenbertal and Kurylis in the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region, a mass mortality of cattle has been recorded. According to the veterinary department, laboratory tests have identified theileriosis, piroplasmosis, and leptospirosis in 51 of the deceased animals. On 22 July, specialists from the veterinary control and supervision committee of the Ministry of Agriculture travelled to the district.
