In Atyrau, a man communicated online with a 12-year-old girl, demanding she send intimate videos and threatening to distribute previously obtained photos. The child's mother identified him independently and arranged a meeting, after which the case was handed over to the police. The court referred the materials to the prosecutor of Atyrau to decide on additional pre-trial investigation.

The National Security Committee has confirmed an investigation into the case of the head of the "KazTemirTrans" branch.

The National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NSC) has confirmed that a pre-trial investigation is under way following the detention of the director of the Almaty branch of KazTemirTrans JSC, Akylbek Bazenov. Earlier, information about his detention had been circulating on social media. The department has not disclosed the details of the case.

The Government of Kazakhstan has amended the procedure for applying the moratorium on the creation of quasi-public sector entities. The decree introduces changes to the rules for establishing such organisations by order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, supplementing the procedure with a requirement to obtain positive conclusions from the relevant sectoral and antitrust authorities.

The enterprise received income at inflated tariffs but failed to carry out some of its 2025 measures.
