A court in Shymkent has upheld a claim by a city resident for compensation regarding a land plot expropriated for state needs. The court ordered the State Institution "Directorate of Land Relations of the City of Shymkent" to pay the owner 83,419,500 tenge. A special ruling was also issued to the city's akim due to identified violations in the land expropriation procedure.

The Juvenile Court of Karaganda has fined one of the 16-year-old participants' mothers 45,413 tenge for the beating of a 13-year-old schoolgirl. The incident occurred on 16 February when a group of teenagers attacked the girl and filmed the event on video. The woman was found guilty of failing to properly fulfil her duties in raising her child.

After the roof collapse, the school contractor in the Kostanay region was ordered to pay 266 million tenge.

The Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has completed an internal investigation into the conflict between the head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sport of the Karaganda Region, Serik Sapiyev, and his deputy, Dauren Yesimkhanov. Based on the findings of the investigation, it was determined that the head of the department’s actions show signs of violating the requirements of the Code of Ethics for Civil Servants.
