The National Security Committee confirmed to journalists the fact of a pre-trial investigation into the chairman of the Kazalinsky District Court of the Kyzylorda Region, Dauren Abdykalykov. The criminal case is being conducted based on materials related to a possible corruption offence. Details of the investigation are not disclosed by the department.

In the East Kazakhstan Region, an investigation into the illegal extraction of minerals has been completed. The suspect is the head of a limited liability partnership (LLP) that had been working at the deposit without a permit for industrial extraction.
