In the North Kazakhstan Region (NKR), the first verdict has been handed down in a case of aiding and abetting procurement through the website Kizdar․net. Six members of a transnational organised group have received sentences of between 8 and 10 years.
WHAT IS KNOWN
In March 2026, the prosecutor's office of Petropavlovsk brought charges against six members of a transnational organised group, who were accused of aiding in the promotion and advertising of intimate services on the banned website Kizdar․net.
According to case materials, the group's activity involved promoting profiles of individuals who provided intimate services for a monetary reward according to set tariffs.
WHAT DECISION DID THE COURT MAKE
On 19 June 2026, the Specialised Inter-District Criminal Court of the North Kazakhstan Region found all six defendants guilty.
The leader of the transnational organised group was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and the other participants received 8 years in prison each.
The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
CONTEXT
Earlier, the detention of the alleged organisers of the Kizdar․net website became known. According to investigators, the resource had been used since 2011 to advertise and facilitate the provision of paid intimate services.
According to law enforcement agencies, the alleged illegal income from the website's activities exceeded 2 billion tenge.
