A resident of Astana has challenged a state agency's refusal to change their nationality from Italian to German. The court established that when reviewing such applications, not only data about the parents must be taken into account, but also other circumstances, including ancestry. As a result, the state agency was obliged to re-examine the application, although the court's decision has not yet entered into legal force.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan has reported calls to citizens from unknown individuals posing as polyclinic staff and requesting SMS codes and personal data. Such cases are being recorded in different regions of the country and are not related to the activities of medical organisations. The department urges citizens not to share personal data and to verify information through official services.

In Taldykorgan, police officers of Zhetysu, coordinated by the prosecutor's office, have shut down the operation of two drug laboratories. According to the investigation, two foreign nationals, aged 31 and 21, are believed to be involved in their operation. During searches, more than 1.3 kg of mephedrone was seized, along with laboratory equipment and chemical reagents. Investigative actions are underway to establish all the circumstances and any possible accomplices.

Court No. 2 of Ust-Kamenogorsk has found the former deputy akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Zhaksylyk Omar, guilty of fraud and accepting a bribe. He has been sentenced to 6 years in prison with confiscation of property and a lifetime ban from working in the public sector. The verdict matched the position of the state prosecutor.

After a fatal road accident on Al-Farabi Avenue in Almaty, which led to the dismissal of several police chiefs, it has emerged that the brother of former deputy head of the Almaty Police Department, Yerzhan Uzabayev, had previously been involved in a criminal case concerning smuggling and was on the international wanted list.

In the Aktobe region, police have detained two groups suspected of extorting money from miners and workers in entertainment venues. The arrests took place in Khromtau and Aktobe, with searches carried out and cash and evidence seized. The suspects have been placed in temporary detention facilities, criminal cases are being investigated, and facts of unlawful deprivation of liberty are also being checked.

A resident of Uralsk drew attention to a publication by the city's education department containing a large number of errors in the text of a safety memo for children. The material was shared via school chats and Instagram. The publication was later removed. The department reported that a draft version of the document had been posted, in which grammatical and stylistic inaccuracies were found.

In Aktobe, the court has sentenced the organisers of the Harmony Rider Technology (HRT) financial pyramid, finding them guilty and handing down prison terms of up to six years. According to the AFM, 115 depositors were involved in the scheme, investing over 197 million tenge under the guise of funding e-scooter rentals. Funds were channelled through crypto wallets, with some of the money used to purchase vehicles that were confiscated by court order.

In Astana, officers of the city's police department have stopped street races involving several drivers, including a minor. The offenders created a hazardous situation and committed serious traffic violations. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against them, and their cars have been impounded.

In Almaty, during the first day of the operational and preventive measure "Stop-Violations," the police identified more than 2,000 traffic violations. Around 400 violations involving electric scooters were also recorded, and approximately 1,000 vehicles were impounded. The operation is aimed at reducing accident rates and strengthening control on the roads.
