In the capital's Multidisciplinary City Children's Hospital No. 3, children with measles continue to be treated. Since October 2025, there has been an increase in hospitalisations, with a peak in November-December. Currently, more than 50 children are in hospital, predominantly under five years old. Doctors urge parents to ensure timely vaccination.

The Government of Kazakhstan has published a response to a request from Senate deputies regarding the situation surrounding the Kazakh Research Veterinary Institute. The data was provided in response from Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov to a parliamentary inquiry regarding the spread of dangerous advertising on social networks. Information on identified violations and the preparation of legislative changes has also been presented.

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Kostanay Region identified illegal logging and fire safety violations in the forestries of Arkaragay and Uzunkol. Damages exceeding 1 million tenge have been compensated, 4 employees have been held accountable, and managers have received administrative and disciplinary penalties.
