At one of the markets in Almaty, 13,680 chicken eggs were seized from illegal circulation, which were being sold without the required veterinary documents, labelling, and special packaging. Following the inspection, the violators were fined a total of 1,297,500 tenge.

Over 26 thousand hectares of land have been returned to state ownership in the Birzhan sal district of the Akmola region. The work was carried out as part of a project to identify and return unused plots.

In the Pavlodar region, a crime involving grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of a person, committed in 2022, has been solved. In March 2026, the court found the defendant guilty and sentenced him to eight years' imprisonment.

8 June 2026, at the Karasu vehicle checkpoint in the Zhambyl region, an attempt to illegally import 360,000 packs of cigarettes into Kazakhstan was prevented. The estimated value of the seized goods exceeds 180 million tenge.
