The victim of the road traffic accident involving former Mazhilis deputy Bakytzhan Bazarbek — Nurzhigit Koshanov continues his recovery in Taraz. Bazarbek published a photograph of the man together with doctors and reported that rehabilitation lies ahead of him due to a broken leg.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT NURZHIGIT'S CONDITION
As Bakytzhan Bazarbek reported on his Instagram page, Nurzhigit is in Taraz and continues his treatment. In the photograph, he is pictured together with medical staff from Taraz City Multidisciplinary Hospital.
Bazarbek expressed his gratitude to the doctors for helping the victim. In the post, he noted the work of the specialists from the anaesthesiology and intensive care department, as well as other hospital staff.
REHABILITATION LIES AHEAD
According to Bakytzhan Bazarbek, Nurzhigit has already regained consciousness, but his recovery is still ongoing. The victim has been diagnosed with a broken leg, so rehabilitation lies ahead of him.
"Since Nurzhigit has a broken leg, we still have rehabilitation ahead of us. We will continue to work in this direction," Bazarbek reported.
In his post, the former deputy separately noted the professional work of the doctors and nurses at the Taraz hospital. He listed the staff who were involved in Nurzhigit's treatment and thanked them for the assistance provided.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
The road traffic accident occurred on 15 August in Ryskulov District of Zhambyl Region. A criminal case has been opened into the accident.
Later, Bazarbek reported that the investigation is ongoing, and that he and his wife had signed a non-disclosure agreement regarding the pre-trial investigation, and also urged against jumping to conclusions.
24 days after the road traffic accident, Nurzhigit came out of a coma and began to recognise relatives. At the same time, doctors noted that the patient's condition remained serious due to polytrauma and he continued to require intensive treatment.
