Lawyer Sherdor Abdykaparov stated that no official charges have been brought against the former head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchybek Tashiev. He previously reported that charges had been filed, but later deleted the post and said he had made an inaccuracy.
WHAT HAS CHANGED IN THE LAWYER'S POSITION
According to Kaktus.media, earlier Sherdor Abdykaparov published information on social networks claiming that Kamchybek Tashiev, Kurmankul Zulushev and Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu had been charged under articles similar to those applied to other defendants in the case.
"No charges have been officially brought, and the former politicians were summoned for questioning as part of a case under which similar charges may potentially be filed," said Abdykaparov.
He also clarified that he had already deleted the video in question because he had formulated his thoughts inaccurately.
CONTEXT
Earlier, information spread in the media and on social networks that Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as Kurmankul Zulushev and Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, had been charged with serious offences related to the mass riots case.
