A confiscated Lexus LX600 off-road vehicle, worth approximately 79 million tenge, linked to the Perizat Kairat case, has been transferred to the balance of the Agency for Financial Monitoring, which conducted the investigation. The driver of a BMW has been found guilty of drifting and dangerous driving on Zhumabayeva Street. The court imposed an administrative fine, and the car has been sent to a municipal impound lot. A court in Ust-Kamenogorsk has sentenced the former deputy akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Zhaksylyk Omar, to six years in prison with confiscation of property and a lifetime ban from holding public office. He has been found guilty of fraud using his official position and of taking a bribe. Due to the crimes being classified as corruption-related, amnesty and parole do not apply to him. The sentence has not yet entered into force and may be appealed.

A group of citizens beat police officers in the Atyrau region

In the Atyrau region, in the Makat district, a group of citizens attacked police officers while on duty. As a result, two police officers were injured. All those involved in the incident have been identified, apprehended and arrested.
