A 38-year-old local police inspector has died in the Aral District of the Kyzylorda Region after sustaining injuries during a conflict. At the time of the incident, the officer was on leave.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE INCIDENT
According to the Police Department of the Kyzylorda Region, the body of the local inspector was found with signs of violent death on 31 August in a garage in the courtyard of a private house in Aral.
Police reported that during a conflict arising from domestic circumstances, the officer sustained bodily injuries from which he died. The victim and the suspect were known to each other.
WHO THE POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR
The identity of the suspect has been established. According to available information, the police are searching for a 39-year-old resident of Aral and are taking measures to detain him.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with the death of the local inspector. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE VICTIM AND THE SUSPECT
The deceased local inspector had previously brought the suspect to administrative responsibility on multiple occasions for offences in the sphere of family and domestic relations.
Protective orders had also been issued against the man.
