In Kazakhstan, a Ministry of Finance order is being prepared to write off penalties and fines on tax arrears for micro and small businesses. The measure applies on condition that the principal debt is repaid between 1 January and 31 March of the current year, and will be implemented automatically by the tax authorities. Explanations regarding the document were given live on the state revenue committee’s broadcast.

In Kazakhstan, new rules for paying bonuses to civil servants have come into force. A government resolution has expanded the grounds for additional payments, including holidays and anniversaries, while the decision on bonuses has been delegated to the heads of state bodies. The source of funding has been identified as budget savings.
