In the East Kazakhstan Region, another official previously caught using foul language has got off with a disciplinary penalty and continues to work in their position.

The Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region, Nurymbet Saktaganov, stated that he intends to solve the main environmental problems of Ust-Kamenogorsk within five years, where a high level of air pollution is recorded annually. He reported that an action plan worth 10.5 billion tenge has been approved for the next three years.

In the West Kazakhstan Region, the area of irrigated land has increased to 12,441 hectares. Last year, this figure stood at 10,160 hectares. This was announced by the deputy akim of the region, Tilepbergen Kayupov, at the extraordinary 21st session of the regional maslikhat.
