The editorial board of the FBRK begins a series of articles analysing the most expensive state procurement in the regions of Kazakhstan. The first edition focuses on Pavlodar Region, where the key budget expenditures for 2025 are concentrated in infrastructure, housing policy and the veterinary sector.

From February 2026, Russian authorities have been carrying out mass livestock culls in the Novosibirsk and Omsk regions, the Altai Republic and a number of other regions. The official reason is mutated pasteurellosis, although experts and industry sources suggest that foot-and-mouth disease may be the real cause.

The FBIK editorial office has received responses from state bodies and the contractor regarding the operation of automated measurement stations in Kazakhstan. According to the Transport Control Committee, from June to December 2025, 13,056 violations were recorded and fines totalling 3.4 billion tenge were imposed, of which approximately 2 billion have been recovered. At the same time, responsibility for the installation, maintenance and results of the AMS is distributed among several structures.
