A criminal case has been opened in the West Kazakhstan Region against the limited liability partnership "Baystone", which owes more than 1.8 billion tenge to the regional budget. The company received hundreds of millions from the budget to supply vegetables for the stabilisation fund, as well as a billion for the construction of a vegetable storage facility. However, neither the 'social' potatoes nor the facility itself ever materialised, and the funds were lost.
