In the natural reserve "Akzhayik" on Shalyga Island in the Atyrau region, a mass die-off of birds has occurred. The island is located at the mouth of the Ural River, where regular tides, low tides, and waste discharges are observed.

In the specialised inter-district criminal court of the Turkestan region, sentences were handed down to 46 employees of the Zhetysay district education department. They were found guilty of embezzling entrusted property.

In the city of Kosshy, Akmola Region, in February of this year, the "Megapolis" traffic management system, installed using funds from the private company LLP "SpetsTradeTM", was transferred to the balance of the akimat. Four months later — on 4 June — the same company won a tender worth 57 million tenge for the maintenance of traffic light facilities.

Residents of building No. 80 on Koshkarbayev Street in Astana have contacted the editorial office of FBRK. At the time of the appeal (19 July), they had already been without hot water for three days. The reason is the incomplete collection of funds for preparations for the 2025–2026 heating season. Money is being collected outside of official receipts, which raises questions about the actions of the management company and the resource supply organisation.

On 21 July in Aktau, some public transport routes did not operate. From early morning, residents complained that buses were not running, and in the 2GIS app, movement on several routes was not shown.
