Police officers were detained for selling seized drugs in the Turkestan region

Employees of the Anti-Drug Crime department of the Turkestan Regional Police Department have been detained on suspicion of selling seized drugs. Among those detained are the deputy head of the department, Daulet Yermekov, and an operational officer, Yessen Sultanbayev.

Another head of the East Kazakhstan Region ecology department has been sentenced to 10 years for bribery.

In the East Kazakhstan region, the former head of the ecology department, Mamai Butabayev, has been convicted in a bribery case involving the deputy director of a road construction company, Kanat Dyrynbayev, during the reconstruction of a section of a national highway.

The company of the new Majilis deputy has received government contracts worth hundreds of millions of tenge.
