New Stadler carriages may not fit the platforms at Nұrly Zhol station due to narrow clearance gaps.

In autumn, it became known that by the end of 2025 Kazakhstan will receive the first batch of 537 passenger carriages from the Swiss company Stadler, however, calculations based on technical data from JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" reveal a potential problem: the gap between the new carriages and the platforms of the capital's Nurly Zhol station could be critically small — less than 20 cm on some tracks, which raises questions about passenger safety.

In the village of Glubokoye, East Kazakhstan Region, the future of the boiler house, the construction of which was announced by the former regional governor Daniyal Akhmetov back in 2018, has been decided. The project is expected to be completed amid the critical deterioration of the current heating system, where accidents and leaks are regularly recorded during the heating season.
