The football club "Astana" is set to be privatised: an investor has already been found, although their name has not yet been disclosed. This was announced by the Minister of Tourism and Sport, Yerbol Myrzabosynov, at a government press conference.

Blogger Nikolay Ginyatov has been fined 200 MCI (786,400 tenge) in a defamation case against the deputy akim of Kostanay Region, Gulbaram Musagazina. The relevant ruling was issued by the Auliekol District Court.
