After the final joint session of the Houses of Parliament, Majilis deputies discussed their plans for the coming months. Among these plans are involvement in public activities, teaching, academic work, and awaiting further decisions related to the new format of representative bodies.

The Petropavlovsk court found 33-year-old Pavel Stravinskas guilty of stealing jewellery and intentionally destroying another person's property by arson. The man was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Messages have spread on social media claiming that Family Park may be closed and a residential complex allegedly built in its place. The press service of the Almaty City Administration stated that this information is not true and the park will retain its purpose.

In January–May 2026, Tajikistan produced 85,822 tonnes of meat from large and small livestock, which is 13.4% more compared to the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, in Kazakhstan over the same period, cattle mortality increased by 18.9%, whereas herd size grew by 3.9%.

Logistics companies have started using a route through Kazakhstan to deliver cargo from China to the Moscow region. This decision is linked to disruptions in the Russian fuel market, which have already led to an increase in the cost of road transport and changes in logistics routes.
