The Court of Cassation amended the sentence against three residents of Atyrau region found guilty of using violence against representatives of authority. Instead of restriction of liberty, they were sentenced to imprisonment.

A farmer in the Aktobe region has been battling the akimat in court over land for the third year.

In the Baiganin district of Aktobe region, a plot of land that a farmer had been trying to register as his property since 2015 was given by the local akimat to another female villager in 2023. In Alatau, a tender has been announced for the construction of road infrastructure worth 1.7 billion tenge. At the same time, only 1,000 tenge in funding has been allocated for the first year of the project's implementation. This means that the bulk of the expenditure is being deferred to the next period, and work will have to begin with minimal budget funding.

The General Prosecutor's Office Committee does not maintain data on the consequences of deferring punishment in Kazakhstan.
