Concrete plant in Almaty fined 2 million tenge with suspension of operations

In Almaty, the operation of one concrete plant has been temporarily suspended and it has been fined nearly 2 million tenge for violating environmental requirements. This was announced by the deputy head of the Almaty ecology department, Dinmukhamed Lesbekov, during a briefing at the regional communications service (RCS).

Over the last three years in the Almaty region, 1,135 land plots with a total area of 367,800 hectares have been returned to state ownership. In the city of Konayev alone, this figure amounted to more than 20,000 hectares.

TOO "Kazferrostal" has been ordered to pay a fine of 11.4 billion tenge for the illegal burial of slag and storage of scrap metal on the banks of the Malaya Almatinka River in Almaty. Prime Minister instructed to complete preparations of schools for 1 September

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has ordered that repairs in the country's schools be completed by 1 September. He noted the slow pace of work in 34 schools in Almaty, the Abai and Ulytau regions, and the West Kazakhstan, Almaty, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, Aktobe and East Kazakhstan regions.
