A well-known telecommunications expert, Igor Lastovkin, has criticised the work of mobile operator Beeline Kazakhstan. He described several situations relating to the debiting of funds, the quality of services, the work of the support service and advertising mailouts.

The trial in the Burabay district court continues in the case of the explosion at the «Centre of Plov» café. During the hearing, the owner of the establishment admitted that he had not sufficiently controlled the café's operations and had failed to ensure proper compliance with fire safety requirements. The owner of the autogas filling station, where the gas cylinders for the café were refilled, also gave testimony.

A court in the state of New Mexico has ordered Meta to pay more than $567 million following a lawsuit brought by state authorities, who claimed that the company's activities caused harm to children and created a public nuisance. The company said it disagrees with the court's ruling and intends to appeal.

The Almaty prosecutor's office has filed an appeal petition for a lighter sentence for journalist Alexandra Alyokhova, previously convicted in a case of unlawful distribution of personal data. The final decision will be made by the court of appeal.

The State Mortgage Company (SMC), under the Presidential Property Management Department of Kyrgyzstan, is commissioning the construction of the "Muras" residential complex in Bishkek to two contractors linked to the circle of the Presidential Property Manager Kanibek Tumanbaev and President Sadyr Japarov.

For the first half of 2026, 1,995 non-residential facilities with a total value of 1.58 trillion tenge were commissioned in Kazakhstan. The most expensive construction category was office buildings, overtaking schools, power plants and car parks.

Almira Nurlybekova, the mother of Kuandyk Bishimbayev, who was convicted of murder, has filed a financial claim against his former wife, Nazym Kakharaman. According to Kakharaman, the amount claimed is around 25 million tenge and relates to income from the family business.

In the North Kazakhstan Region, a scientific project has begun to create a full-cycle production of environmentally friendly aviation fuel. Camelina sativa is being considered as the raw material, with experimental sowings to be carried out at the university's demonstration base.
