The banking system of Kazakhstan has maintained its stability according to the results of the supervisory stress test for 2025. Eleven banks, which account for 86% of the country's banking sector assets, passed the test. Following the simulation of a crisis scenario, the core capital adequacy ratio stood at 16.1%, significantly exceeding the minimum regulatory requirement of 5.5%.

The Bureau of National Statistics has published preliminary data on Kazakhstan's foreign trade for January–February 2026. Exports rose to $12.04 billion, imports to $9.64 billion, while the structure of trade remains commodity-based and import-dependent. Russia continues to be the main trading partner.

Alatau Akimat announced a tender worth 1.7 billion tenge with a budget of 1,000 tenge for the first year.
