Ahead of the last school bell, the Almaty police urged parents, teachers and graduates to observe safety measures during the festive events. Law enforcement officers paid particular attention to dangerous car rides, which often become part of graduation celebrations.

The Court of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) allowed the enforcement of nearly $1.4 billion from Gazprom in favour of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. The court recognised the arbitration award and issued permission for its enforcement in the territory of Kazakhstan.

In the Kostanay region, fictitious vaccination of 1,910 head of cattle was identified.

The prosecutor's office in the Kostanay region has uncovered instances of fictitious vaccination of farm animals and falsification of livestock population data. The inspection also revealed violations in the storage of veterinary medicines and failure to adhere to vaccination schedules, which is directly linked to biosecurity issues in the agricultural sector.

The construction of a police station in a park area was prevented in the Atyrau region.

In the Makhambet district of the Atyrau region, the prosecutor's office overturned the akimat's decisions to construct a police building in a park area, which would have involved cutting down vegetation on 2 hectares. Under the supervision order, several officials have been subjected to disciplinary action, and the akim of the rural district has been dismissed from his post.

Four deputy akims have been fined for violating environmental regulations in the WKO.

In the West Kazakhstan Region, four deputy akims were brought to administrative responsibility for failing to liquidate illegal landfills in a timely manner. In 2025, 183 landfills were identified in the region, of which 154 have been liquidated.

<p>The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has identified illegal dividend payments worth 6.8 billion tenge at Almaty Airport.</p>

The Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance has identified an illegal dividend payment of 6.8 billion tenge at Almaty International Airport to a legal entity that is not a shareholder. The funds have been returned to the airport's account and will be allocated to infrastructure development and service improvements for passengers.

The court in Astana heard a case concerning the theft of 95 million tenge via Instagram.

In Astana, a court found a 30-year-old man guilty of receiving money from members of the public between 2021 and 2025 while posing as a mortgage broker on Instagram. According to the investigation, 25 people were affected, and the total damage exceeded 95 million tenge. The defendant was sentenced to six years' imprisonment.

After the roof collapse, the school contractor in the Kostanay region was ordered to pay 266 million tenge.

The Specialised Inter-District Economic Court of Kostanay Region upheld a claim by a state body against a contractor for the recovery of over 266 million tenge in damages. The grounds were improper performance of a school construction contract and the subsequent collapse of the sports hall roof. The court's decision has not yet entered into legal force.
