Audit of state support for the AIC reveals violations worth 300 billion tenge in Kazakhstan

In 2023–2024, an audit of financing for the agro-industrial complex (AIC) revealed violations totalling around 300 billion tenge, including 32 billion tenge in direct budget losses. The inspection showed systemic problems in the mechanisms of subsidies, investment lending and microfinancing. Following the audit, the Government instructed that approaches to state support for the AIC be reviewed and that control be strengthened.

The Agency for Civil Service Affairs has confirmed violations in the veterinary committee of the Ministry of Agriculture.
