Lawyer denies reports of charges against Kamchybek Tashiyev

Lawyer Sherdor Abdykaparov stated that no official charges have been brought against the former head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchybek Tashiyev. Earlier, he had reported the existence of charges, but later deleted the publication and stated that he had made an inaccuracy.

<p>Kamchybek Tashiyev has been charged with attempting a coup d'état.</p>

Former high-ranking officials — Kamchybek Tashiev, Kurmankul Zulushev and Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu — were questioned at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (MIA KR).
