In the state forest nature reserve "Semey Ormany" in the Abai region, the liquidation of a forest fire is ongoing. As of the morning of 17 July, no open flames are observed, and specialists continue to extinguish isolated pockets of smouldering.

The Ministry of Transport has developed a draft of amendments to the rules for the air carriage of passengers, baggage and cargo. The document introduces new standards aimed at protecting passenger rights, improving service quality, and refining the current regulations.

They feature in a list of the largest debtors published by the State Revenue Committee (SRC), which as of 1 July 2026 includes nearly 1,500 legal entities with a total debt of around 114 billion tenge.

A forest fire has once again occurred on the territory of the state forest nature reserve "Semey Ormany" in the Borodulikha district of the Abai region. More than 250 people, aircraft, and dozens of pieces of equipment have been deployed to extinguish it, and 190 children have been evacuated from the nearby children's camp "DosbolLike".

Two elderly people were injured after a pyrotechnic device was set off in a branch of Halyk Bank in Pavlodar. According to the police, the pensioners followed the instructions of telephone scammers, who persuaded them to ignite a firecracker placed inside a cake.
