Colleagues of the firefighters killed in the road accident have demanded an inspection of fire station No. 9 in Kurchatov.

Two firefighters from fire station No. 9 (FS-9) in the city of Kurchatov, Arnur Adkenov and Yermek Sydykov, died in a road traffic accident (RTA) on the Semey–Kurchatov highway while travelling to their place of duty after an alarm was raised. Following the tragedy, their colleagues stated that there is a need to review the conditions under which the service is organised and the requirements for personnel to report for duty.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has proposed moving some offences related to the acquisition, storage and transportation of drugs without intent to sell from the criminal to the administrative sphere. According to preliminary data, Salmayev is charged under Articles 361 and 366 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the Khatai district of Baku, five organisers of the Telegram cash desk AzeCash have been detained; through it, payments were processed for clients of the bookmakers 1xBet and Mostbet, which are banned in Azerbaijan. The turnover of the scheme amounted to 10 million manats (about $5.9 million or 2.7 billion tenge). All those involved have been charged, and the court has selected preventive measures, including arrest.

Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has seized the property of Maksym Syhalov, co-owner of the payment companies Diamond Pay and E-Pay, which serviced Ukrainian online casinos. According to the investigation, the companies were used to launder funds from gambling. Among the clients of the accused were operators linked to the Pin-Up brand.
