A criminal case has been opened against the company InCruises in Kazakhstan.

The Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan has reported that a criminal case has been opened against the company 'InCruises'. Earlier, more than 135 Kazakh citizens filed a legal claim demanding the return of nearly $243,000 and that the company's activities be declared illegal.

The Akimat of Astana sold an equestrian sports complex for 200 thousand tenge and bought a new one for 7 billion tenge.

The Akimat of Astana sold the equestrian sports complex "Tulpar" at auction in 2016 for just 200,000 tenge, and subsequently purchased another complex – "Argymak" – for 7 billion tenge. The transfer of the new facility to a private company under trust management is currently under discussion, reported Maslikhat deputy Vladislav Sergeyev.

The scheme of illegal micro-lending through a network of pawnshops has been uncovered in Kazakhstan.

The Financial Monitoring Agency (FMA) has uncovered a scheme for illegally issuing microloans through the network of pawnshops «Active Lombard», which was disguised as a chain of second-hand shops. Approximately 200 branches were operating across various regions of the country.
