Kazakhstan has redistributed 260 thousand tonnes of oil due to changes in transit via the Druzhba pipeline.

The Ministry of Energy has announced the redistribution of 260,000 tonnes of oil to alternative export routes following adjustments to transit via the Druzhba pipeline towards Germany. Part of the volumes will be redirected to the port of Ust-Luga and through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).

«Antifraud Centre» helped recover 600 thousand tenge in the Zhetysu region

The Zhetysu Region Prosecutor’s Office, through the ‘Anti-Fraud Centre’ platform of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, secured the return of 600,000 tenge to a resident of the region. In 2025, under the programme, suspicious transactions totalling more than 11 million tenge were frozen, of which 5.3 million tenge have already been returned to their owners.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov has responded to a request from Senate deputies regarding the expansion of financial autonomy for rural districts. The government did not support transferring part of the corporate income tax and VAT to the fourth-level budgets, but is working on transferring certain tax revenues and environmental fines. Amendments are being considered in the Mazhilis.
