Shukhrat Ibragimov sells the family yacht for 130 billion tenge

The superyacht I Dynasty, which belonged to the family of the late businessman Alijan Ibragimov, has been put up for sale for €240 million, or approximately 131 billion tenge at the current exchange rate. Following the entrepreneur's death, the family's assets are being managed by his son Shukhrat Ibragimov.

The use of fake jurors was identified during the consideration of a case in the Ulytau region.

In the court of the Ulytau region, four jurors were identified who, it is claimed, should not have taken part in the hearing of a criminal case concerning torture. After this, the jury was disbanded, and the materials were sent to the prosecutor's office for investigation.

The control of state procurement in the construction sector has been strengthened in Kazakhstan.

In Kazakhstan, the rules for payment of work on state procurement in the field of construction, reconstruction and capital repairs have been changed. The amendments were introduced following the state audit of the use of targeted transfers from the National Fund for 2019–2021. The new requirements oblige state institutions to confirm completed work with documents of the prescribed form.

The authorities of West Kazakhstan Region are planning to buy out a sports complex for 359 million tenge, with a district budget of 71 million.

In the village of Khan Ordasy, West Kazakhstan Region, the "Naryn" sports complex has been built. The facility was constructed by a private investor. In February 2026, a tender was announced for its purchase for 310 million tenge excluding VAT.

The case of the former leadership of the Zhambyl region police has gone to court

In Taraz, the trial has begun of former deputy head of the Zhambyl region police department, Zhaiderbek Kuttybayev, and former head of the Talas district police, Yerken Abayev. Kuttybayev is accused of large-scale fraud, and Abayev is accused of complicity and giving a bribe. The victim is former police officer Darkhan Ualiyev.

The Cabinet of Ministers has reported funding of 66 billion tenge for the veterinary sector until 2027.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov presented a response to the senators' request for reforming the veterinary sector. 66.2 billion tenge has been allocated for infrastructure development in 2026–2027. The draft law provides for the redistribution of functions and adjustments to procurement procedures.
