In Akmola Region, an investigation is being conducted into the alleged embezzlement of budget funds during the implementation of construction projects in Kokshetau. The funds were allocated for the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings for socially vulnerable categories of the population.

On the KAZ04 highway "Astana – Pavlodar", road maintenance teams have identified a section with buckling of the cement concrete surface and have begun repairs. The defect was discovered on 1 June 2026 during routine patrol checks.
